Is this a good deal for a motorcycle?

Yeh, looks ok if your into the total black thing. Beware this could be a disguise for accident damage. Some people are into the shine & polish scene but neglect mechanical attention. The mileage isn't too bad for its age but I would be checking steering head bearings , rear shock & link, front forks action, chain and sprockets, tyres etc for wear.
